What is art in a world made of art , an update

Looking forward to the invite-only meeting about art in SL(initial post about it here). I have just received an updated notecard with more information. Apparently, there will be a voice conversation among the panelists, which will be saved as mp3 and streamed into SL for the event. I hope the audio file will then be made available to the public on the NMC site.

If you would like to chime in more, here are the guests and discussion topics. (from the notecard passed on to me)

Topics:

How SL has changed art or, how art has changed SL
Selling art in SL :marketing, pricing, etc.
The future of art on the internet... and how that will affect traditional art
Exploring and exploiting the strenghts of SL in art : the 3D engine, scripting, building, collaborative and social aspects.
Copyright, DCMA, and SL art
Creation of a new multi-category excellence award for art in SL : the "Academy Awards" of art in SL, selected by a distinguished panel of jurors. How would this change art in SL?

The moderator will be Ninmah Ash, aka Rachel Smith, Director of Special Projects and Publications of the NMC. Ninmah has a considerable interest and background in art, including a masters degree in art education from Stanford, and is the artist who created the poster series for Artists on the Green.

Panelists:
Savi Sieyes - gallery owner, well-known SL artist and patron
Tremali Lightworker - fractal influenced artist and sculptor
Dancoyote Antonelli - Hyperformalist artist
Amalthea Blanc - patron, art lover, builder
