Cotton's Dystopia
Recently Cotton's Dystopia was razed - sad as it was a good build. I had meant to chronicle it a wee bit before its end, but there was a surprise lightning-fast deletion that took more people than me by surprise.
As I understand it Cottonteil's account was suspended for something minor like needing a card update or something, but she never bothered to sort it out . The build, on land owned by Thea, was owned by Cotton, and therefore couldn't survive a land sale. Set me straight in comments if I'm wrong.
Life moves on. On the plus side the new doings in Gibson are heartening.

You're quite right in the things you said.
I held on to the land for as long as I could... The person I sold it to told me, time and again, that the build would be preserved for a couple of months, if not longer.
However, next time I logged in, the entire build was erased. The land was again set for sale, but this time at some ridiculous price.
Needless to say, the experience has not been a happy one...
Noooo!! I'm so sorry to see this... I always liked that place, it was a brilliant build. I remember at one point seeing intricately-built power tools hanging from the trees... I was never quite sure what the place was meant to be.
If anybody's putting together any kind of memorial exhibit of photos of the place, I have a bunch... (thank goodness I took them while I could!)
