The Photography Studio of Grignano
From the Wikipedia:
"Steampunk is a subgenre of fantasy and speculative fiction which came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. The term denotes works set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century, and often set in Victorian era England—but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy, such as fictional technological inventions like those found in the works of H. G. Wells, or real technological developments like the computer occurring at an earlier date. It is often associated with cyberpunk and shares a similar fanbase and theme of rebellion, but developed as a separate movement (though both have considerable influence on each other). Apart from time period, the main difference between cyberpunk and steampunk is that steampunk settings tend to be less obviously dystopian."
THEME
The contest themes are always loose - any interpretation is good. The theme is STEAMPUNK. Do ANYTHING you want.
Some nice steampunky areas in SL include but are not limited to: Babbage Square, Babbage Canals, Caledon, esp. SteamSkyCity
There are shops selling steampunk gear. - Ordinal Enterprises and Fredrickson Airships spring to mind but there are many.
There are steampunk groups.
The gallery will be set up with some interesting artifacts and landmarks in the latter part of June.
These will just be to educate and instruct and will in no way be required as subject matter for your photographs.
Straight snaps or manipulated - it's all good.

TO ENTER
Enter 3 textures of Second Life screenshots. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<----------
Textures can be no bigger than 512x512 - rectangular photos saved as 512x512 regain their proportions once they are put on a prim.
Title entries with your name + title <---= so I don't lose it in my inventory
Send them to Osprey Therian with MOD permission and COPY permission.
Give me an IM so I know to look for them.
Don't send them in a notecard - I say this as I look at textures every day but I rarely look at notecards. If I don't get your heads-up the entry gets buried under the billion spam notecards I get per week. I hate it when things get lost - the only entries to've been lost thus far were in notecards.
